Bonded Scrim Carpet Seaming Tape

XL Bonded Scrim Technology involves gluing fiberglass strands across a 40-inch wide sheet of paper, and then slitting the paper into regular carpet seaming tape widths. This method of directly bonding the scrim to the carpet seaming tape makes very uniform scrim and very low profile carpet seaming tapes.

Knitted Scrim Carpet Seaming Tape

XL Knitted Scrim Technology involves knitting fiberglass into individual fabrics the width of each carpet seaming tape and then gluing the knitted fabrics to the paper before the hot melt adhesive is added.

Knitted Scrim Carpet Seaming Tape has higher strength and higher profiles than Bonded Scrim Carpet Seaming Tape and are the most commonly used seaming tapes available.

Double Scrim Carpet Seaming Tape

XL Double Scrim Carpet Seaming Tapes are made by combining a knitted scrim and a bonded scrim in the same carpet seaming tape product. Double Scrim Carpet Seaming Tapes provide more strength than either bonded or knitted scrim alone.
